Bath Bomb Pigments

We have had a lot of requests lately regarding what may be used or not be used for bath bombs. In this category we have listed all the favorites and YES they are all approved for use on the skin.

Mica: ALL may be used in bath bombs

Superstars: ALL may be used in bath bombs

NEONS: all may be used in bath bombs with the exception of NEON green with contains Green 7 which is not approved for cosmetics.

Oxide: ALL may be used in Bath Bombs

FD&C AND D&C DYES: ALL MAY BE USED IN BATH BOMBS BUT THEY ARE VERY STRONG AND WILL STAIN YOUR TUB. YOUR HANDS, YOUR CLOTHES, ANYTHING THEY COME IN CONTACT WITH. THESE WOULD NOT BE MY FIRST CHOICE. WE HAVE MANY OTHER COLORS WHICH I THINK WOULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE BUT I AM LISTING THEM HERE SINCE THEY SEEM TO HAVE BECOME POPULAR FOR THIS USE.

Glitter PET (Plastic) ALL MAY BE used in bath bomb as they are made with approved FDA colorants.

Ultramines and Chromium Green: ALL may be used in bath bombs.

Below are all great colors that are popular with our customers.

Glow in the dark pigments: Yes they may be used but are not meant for long term use on the skin.
